Cursor discontinued the referral program.
Why did Cursor discontinue the referral program?
Cursor ended the referral program due to increased levels of fraud. New referral invites and referral rewards are no longer available.
What happens to referral credits I already earned?
If you already received referral credits, they remain on your account. You can apply them to eligible charges the same way as before. You can't earn new referral rewards or send new referral invites through the program.
Can I still use a referral link I saved?
Referral links from the program no longer grant discounts or referral rewards for new sign-ups
How can I get a discount on Cursor now?
You still have other ways to save on Cursor:
- Compare plans on Pricing and plans. Yearly plans offer a 20% discount.
- If you're a student, see Student discount for current campus events, credits, and newsletter sign-up options.
Where can I get help with referral credits on my account?
Open cursor.com/dashboard/billing to review your subscription and billing history. For referral credit balance questions, contact support while signed in and include your account email and a short description of the issue.
